In 1995 the talents of Alan Partridge were spotted by BBC bosses and it was decided he should get a six episode series. At last a chance to prove his worth on national TV.
Episode 1 - House band: Glenn Ponder and Chalet
Alan first show is set to be a belter. With guests Roger Moore (actor, as in 007), Shona McGough (singer and band), Sue Lewis (horse jumper) and Keith Hunt (presenter). Roger Moore was caught in traffic and fails to show.
The music act turns out to be a disaster and a show jumper fails to impressed when her horse takes a dump on stage. Alan has a big job on his hands to keep it all together.
The guest turn on Alan and slags off his show. Alan looses his rag and outburst's of 'Up yours....' and 'Kiss my arse' on live TV.

Episode 2 - Alan gets Alan Le Mesmer
Alan gets Alan Le Mesmer, the hypnotist, to hypnotise Alan on stage. Daniella Forest (Playboy's Agony Aunt) seemed to be on the show just to plug her autobiography: Luck Be A Lady.
Hollywood couple Gary Barker and Tania Beaumont were Alan closing quests. They were on the show to quash rumours of their marriage failing.
Alan ended the show strapped to the Wheel of Death, Alan was spun as Tony Le Mesmer threw daggers at him.

Episode 3.
Gina Langland, American Singing Star, found time just before her concert at Earls Court to pop in and visit the show. Lawrence Knowles, sleezy Fleet Street reporter, was on next.
Alan then reunited the 1936 Berlin Olympics women’s hurdles relay team.
Alan's final guests: Raunchy dance act Hot Pants.

Episode 4.
French Chef Philippe Lambert was the first guest. His french style of cooking drops a bombshell on Alan.
Next, Alan got simulated violence and sex acts from Cirque des Clowns, when he expected a bit of light comedy.
International fashion designer Yvonne Boyd came on looking like a pantomine act. From there the show descended into a French hidden buttock agenda.
The show closes with the French accordion player, after the sacking of Glenn Ponder.

Episode 5.
Terry Norton, night-club owner in Leicester Square, was Alan's first guest.
Another Alan partridge from Preston had been invited to the show, but a week later he died. But Alan still invited him along in his coffin.
After a beauty contest, a serious political debate chaired by Alan Partridge took place.

Episode 6.
The show kicked off with a routine by the dance troupe known as The Alan Partridge Playmates.
Alan welcomed onto the show Scott (9) and Dean McLean (11) two very young Hollywood bigshots.
Alan chatted with two lady lesbians. A disaster waiting to happen???
After a bit of light relief with Cheeky Monkey, Alan's last guest of the series was restaurant critic Forbes McAllister. Then, DISASTER! Alan checked some pistols and found they were loaded and as Alan examined them, one went off.
