For UKTV G2

It's a rare outing for our generation's most influential comedian, Steve Coogan, as he presents an exclusive weekend on UKTV G2. Introducing eight favourite episodes from his cutting edge, comic career from in and around his gracious home in Brighton, viewers get a rare glimpse behind the superstar façade.

But not everything is as it seems. Despite global success and comedic omnipotence, Coogan struggles to find an audience in his hometown now that Ricky Gervais has taken the prime shelf space in Woollies... and Steve's not happy.

With rip-roaring new material throughout, Steve reacquaints viewers with his career pinnacles in the form of eight episodes journeying from the immortal Alan Partridge, through chain-smoking and sleeve-hoiking, Paul Calf; via tiger of the corporate jungle, Gareth Cheeseman; to ex-roadie pest controller Tommy Saxondale, full listings printed below.

So join Steve in reliving his career through such classics as Three Fights, Two Weddings and a Funeral; The Tony Ferrino Phenomenon; and revel in remembering what Alan does when people "get Bond wrong" or suggest using chocolate mousse in the bedroom.

Classic Coogan, produced by Baby Cow, premieres on UKTV G2 from 9pm on 10th and 11th March. Unfortunately, no tapes are available for preview before 27 February due to delivery timings.

· "She was certainly first in the queue when God was handing out chests - or mammary glands. Grrr, I'd love to have it off with her. Grrr. Sex." Alan Partridge.

· "This video does contain offensive language, I'm afraid. There are innumerate bastards, 24 fucks, but there's only one cunt. Oh fuck, that's another cunt." Paul Calf.

· "Smell my cheese you mother." Alan Partridge.
