Coogan Joins Idiots

Steve Coogan is set to appear in My Idiot Brother, an indie comedy currently shooting in New York.

Story follows the trials and tribulations of Paul Rudd as the title character, who brings chaos to the lives of his go-getting sisters, played by Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel and Emily Mortimer.

According to Deadline, the British comic will play a self-righteous documentary filmmaker, a role that sounds somewhat similar to the pompous helmer he played in Tropic Thunder. Still, no one does self-righteous quite like Coogan, so we wait with baited breath.
